Who we are
Eurovyža (eurovyza.com) is a private prediction game for Eurovision 2026, operated as a personal project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the Eurovision Song Contest or the EBU.
For any privacy-related questions, please contact the site administrator via the in-app admin contact or reach out to a participant who can forward your request.
What data we collect
When you sign in, we receive and store:
- Your email address
- Your profile name and avatar
- A session token used to keep you signed in
Once you complete your profile, we also store:
- First name, last name, and optional nickname
- Your competition predictions (semifinal and final guesses)
- Your scores and leaderboard position
- Any leagues you create or join
We do not collect payment information, location data, or any data beyond what is listed above.
How we use your data
Your data is used solely to operate the game:
- To identify you and maintain your session
- To display your name on leaderboards visible to other participants
- To record and score your predictions
- To manage league membership
Your data is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose outside the game.
Infrastructure and data storage
Eurovyža uses third-party infrastructure providers to operate the service. Your data is stored in a database hosted within the EU. Application logs may temporarily contain request metadata such as IP addresses.
Authentication is handled via a third-party identity provider. Their privacy policy applies to the sign-in process.
Cookies and sessions
We use a single session cookie to keep you signed in. This cookie contains a random session token — no personal data is stored in the cookie itself. The session record is stored in our database and is deleted when you sign out.
We do not use analytics cookies, tracking pixels, or advertising cookies.
Your rights (GDPR)
As a user based in the EU, you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Access — you can request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Rectification — you can update your name and nickname directly in your profile
- Erasure — you can request deletion of your account and all associated data
- Portability — you can request your data in a machine-readable format
To exercise any of these rights, contact the site administrator. We will respond within 30 days.
Data retention
Your account and prediction data are retained for the duration of the tournament and for a reasonable period afterward to maintain leaderboard history. You may request deletion at any time by contacting the site administrator.
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the service. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
